Who is actually behind MASE AIRDING?
The three sports-fanatic founders Michael, Mike and Andreas - in the video they talk about their tasks at MASE.
The founding team
Michael Lehnert
Michael is responsible for our electronics and software. He prefers to talk and think in numbers. He also manages the team. He has a degree in physics. He is a specialist in sensor technology and has always been a successful R&D and development manager in the electronics industry (e.g., TI, Hitachi). He is enthusiastic about sports and spends a lot of time cycling and kitesurfing.
Mike Stöger
Mike is responsible for hardware, especially inflation technology and construction. He's a true tinkerer and a qualified mechanical engineer. He's an expert in PPE product development and quality control. For ABS, he developed avalanche airbag systems. In his free time, he is a passionate climber and mountaineer.
Andreas Keller
Andi has taken over sales and marketing. His open and friendly nature makes it easy for him to approach people. At the same time, he takes care of the company's finances. He is a graduate in business administration and an experienced sales and marketing manager. In winter, you'll usually find him skiing. In summer, he speeds around on his mountain bike or road bike.
The Origin of MASE
We are a well-coordinated trio who have achieved a great deal together. We are delighted that we were able to realize our innovative idea and can celebrate it today. Our paths crossed many years ago. Michael and Andreas have been friends since their youth and still play tennis together today. Mike and Michael know each other from their time together at ABS. It was therefore obvious that the three would join forces and found their own company.
After extensive development work, a good deal of perseverance, data upon data that all needed to be analyzed and interpreted, many test falls, a bruise or two, and above all, motivation to achieve their goal and not give up during tough times, they finally hold their MASE AIRDING in their hands, fully functional. And it was definitely worth it! They would do it exactly the same way again.
