The AIRDING SYSTEM
Each AIRDING consists of a backpack (carrying system), an integrated, reusable airbag model, and an inflator unit with a high-tech sensor and compressed air cartridge. Depending on the backpack, different airbag models can be integrated. The minimalist COMPACT currently only allows the AirRide airbag system. The FUSION, on the other hand, can be equipped with all available airbags.
Backpack Variants and Airbag Models
Airbag Model "AirTour"
The AirTour was our first airbag model and paved the way for our current technology. It protects the face, neck, cervical spine, and collarbone. It is suitable for cyclists who wear a helmet. This airbag model is the lightest we currently offer in the Fusion series – perfect for road cyclists who value safety but still need some storage space. The AirTour is currently only available in limited quantities.
Airbag model "AirRide"
The AirRide is the advancement of our first model, the AirTour. It not only offers protection for the face, neck and cervical spine, but also for the shoulders – for an even more comprehensive safety concept. Ideal for cyclists who wear a helmet and don't want to compromise on safety while riding. The AirRide is available in both our FUSION and COMPACT models.
Airbag model "AirCruise"
The AirCruise features lateral airbag walls that further enclose the head area. This airbag model is the best choice for those who generally do not wear helmets. Note: The AirCruise does not replace a helmet and does not offer complete head protection. It is available for the FUSION backpack. Since the folding technique is more complex, we recommend, for safety reasons, not to fold the airbag yourself. The purchase price includes a one-time service. This includes the replacement of the inflator, the inspection of the airbag, and the folding of the airbag.

If you value low weight and professional basic protection, then the AIRDING COMPACT AirRide is the right choice. The neck and shoulder area are optimally protected by the airbag design, and the harness system is maximally reduced so that you hardly feel it at all. Maximum performance, minimal equipment.
Commuting and everyday cycling
Do you cycle every day and are exposed to various dangers and risks in road traffic? Then the AIRDING FUSION could be the right basis for you. It has additional storage space and can be delivered with various airbag models - AirRide, AirTour, and AirCruise.
Amateur cyclists who usually ride without a helmet
Are you frequently out and about on your e-bike or regular bicycle and forgo traditional bike helmets? To ensure you're still well-protected, the AIRDING FUSION AirCruise is the perfect solution for you. Complete head protection combined with additional storage space in your backpack.
