It is not a recommendation to cycle without a helmet, but for all those who still cycle without head protection, the AirCruise offers more protective effect than riding completely without safety products.
Are you one of those cyclists who don't wear a helmet but still want more safety? Then the AirCruise is the right choice for you. For those who want to combine this airbag shape with a helmet, the AirCruise is not suitable. In the event of deployment, it cannot be guaranteed that the airbag will fully enclose the head, as it may get caught on the helmet.
Protection
In the event of an accident, the integrated airbag protects the face, cervical spine, collarbones, and upper body, especially the shoulders. Compared to the AirTour, this model has a larger airbag shape that fits snugly around the head and shoulders. Due to its special airbag design, this model extends your head safety and reduces possible damage from lateral head impacts. Therefore, this variant is particularly suitable for all cyclists who habitually ride without a helmet. If you wear a helmet, you are better off with the AirTour and AirRide models.
Each model is equipped with a TÜV-certified, particularly lightweight back protector (protection level 1) that additionally protects the spine in the event of falls.
Recommended Area of Use
The AirCruise is the most comprehensive protection for habitual non-helmet wearers among our models. The AirCruise is neither an alternative to a helmet nor a helmet substitute and should not encourage helmet wearers to exchange their helmet for the AirCruise. For all those who would otherwise be completely without protection, the AirCruise is particularly suitable for the following areas:
- City, Urban
- Cargo
- Touring
- E-Bike
Sustainability
The AirCruise is not only safe and comfortable, but also sustainable! To ensure you receive a durable product, it is especially important to us to develop reusable products. You can refold the airbag at any time, simply close the zippers again after deployment, and replace the deployed inflator with a new one. Furthermore, we source almost all individual components regionally and manufacture the bicycle airbag backpacks in our production facility in Erding.
MASE stands not only for quality but also for trust – and this is reflected in every detail of the AirCruise.
With the AIRDING series, we have created products that set new standards in terms of safety and technology. Cyclists can look forward to a reliable companion that can save lives in an emergency.
Don't say no to your safety. Get your own AirCruise today.
Since the AirCruise folding technique is more complex, we recommend for safety reasons not to fold the airbag yourself. A one-time service is already included in the purchase price. This includes replacing the inflator, checking the airbag, and folding the airbag. To send the backpack back to us, please contact us at: service@mase-safety.com. Any further service can be booked for €99.95 in the shop. If you want to fold the airbag yourself, you can follow the folding instructions in the manual.

Notes on System Tripping
Our airbag recognizes movement patterns typical of falls. Despite extensive testing and intelligent sensor technology, 100% deployment in every situation cannot be guaranteed. In rare cases, false deployments or non-deployments may occur – especially with atypical movements or jumps.
Battery Disposal
All AIRDING products contain a rechargeable, permanently installed battery.
After its service life, the device must not be disposed of with household waste. Please drop off the device at a municipal collection point for old electrical appliances or send it back to us.
Used batteries and devices with built-in batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment and health if disposed of improperly. By returning them properly, you contribute to environmental and resource protection.
