The MASE AIRDING Cargo combines generous storage space, well-thought-out functionality, and innovative MASE airbag technology in a versatile bike backpack. Whether for commuting, mountain biking, gravel riding, bikepacking, or long tours, with a volume of 18 liters—expandable to 22 liters—it adapts flexibly to any use.

The durable, water-repellent material, taped zippers, and practical features such as laptop and hydration bladder compartments, a smartphone pocket, a helmet net, and reflective elements make the Cargo the ideal companion for everyday use and adventure. Ergonomic shoulder straps, a ventilated back system, and a stowable hip belt ensure a high level of comfort.

The discreetly integrated MASE airbag technology detects critical fall situations and provides additional protection for the head, neck, shoulders, and upper body without restricting freedom of movement or comfort.

Protection

In the event of an accident, the integrated face airbag protects the face, especially the cheekbones, the cervical spine, the collarbones and parts of the upper body. This particular model also covers the shoulders with its side airbag section. The inflated airbag is firm and prevents more severe injuries such as whiplash or a broken neck, as the airbag encloses and immobilizes your neck without causing injury.

With this model, it is possible to wear a full-face helmet.

Each model also has an integrated TÜV-certified, particularly lightweight back protector (protection level 1) that additionally protects the spine in the event of a fall.

You achieve optimal protection by wearing the AirRide in combination with a bicycle helmet.

The AIRDING CARGO AirRide stands out thanks to its large capacity of up to 22 liters. Particularly noteworthy is the lightning-fast inflation time of only 150 milliseconds, which can be crucial in emergencies. The AirRide's sensors measure the cyclist's position, acceleration, and movements 300 times per second. A specially developed algorithm continuously analyzes this data and detects potential falls. In the event of an accident, the airbag is automatically deployed, effectively protecting against injuries.

With a long battery life of 30 hours, the AIRDING CARGO AirRide remains reliably operational even on longer tours.

Sustainability

The AIRDING CARGO AirRide is not only safe and comfortable, but also sustainable! To ensure you hold a long-lasting product in your hands, it is particularly important to us to develop reusable products. You can always refold the airbag, simply close the zippers again after deployment, and replace the triggered inflator with a new one. In addition, we source almost all individual components regionally and manufacture the bicycle airbag backpacks at our production facility in Erding.
